Does the NetModule Router connect automatically to the Connectivity Suite
Initial connection from the NetModule Router to the Connectivity suite requires a provisioning. To execute the provisioning the NetModule router requires a provisioning configuration provided by the Connectivity Suite. After initial connection the router connects automatically to the Connectivity Suite also after loss of connectivity. For more detailed instruction read the instruction manual.

How many devices can be connected to the Connectivity Suite?
How many device can be connected depends on the system resources. This is explained in the instruction manual which can be downloaded from https://connectivity-suite-user-manual.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

Does the Connectivity Suite supports third party routers?
At the moment the Connectivity supports only NetModule routers to manage software and configuration. Third party routers can be integrated based on request.

What does the Connectivity Suite costs?
The price depends on licence fees which vary based on the number of connected devices. However Future bug fixes and releases are also included in the price. Please contact sales@netmodule.com for further information.

What support do I get?
All customers receive 2nd and 3rd level support which is included in the license cost of the Connectivity Suite.

What is the difference between a Cloud Router and the Connectivity Suite ?
If you have been working with the Cloud Router, you might want to know what the difference is between the two solutions.

Cloud Router
In the Connectivity Suite the Cloud Router is represented as a Tenant. Note that the Connectivity Suite can have more than one Tenant.

Remote Station
A Remote Station is called Device in the Connectivity Suite.

Control Station
A Control Station allows the user to connect directly with the Remote Station in the Cloud Router. The Connectivity Suite allows to download the Service Access Configuration, which can be used to connect to the Remote Station via the CLI or web interface of the connected device

Devices
In the Cloud Router the Device is the equipment that is connected to the Remote Station. These are called End Devices in the Connectivity Suite.

How can I test the Connectivity Suite

Trials are offered for testing, whereby these are Connectivity Suite instances that are operated in an AWS Cloud. When you sign up for the free trial, you will get immediate access to the Connectivity Suite. The trials last 30 days and the data is deleted at the end of the trial.
